As an Actuarial Manager, Pricing, you will be part of a dynamic team that is building a high-performance culture, leveraging data capabilities to inform insurance risk management decisions, and driving business growth through strategic partnerships. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to optimize insurance programs, manage risk, and drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead Pricing Analyses: Conduct in-depth pricing analyses to inform operational strategy, enable optimal structuring of insurance programs, and support risk management initiatives. Insurance Carrier Negotiations: Participate in pricing negotiations with insurance carriers to help optimize insurance spend and ensure seamless task execution. Performance Metrics and Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with senior team members to elevate monthly performance metrics and implement risk mitigation strategies. Cross-Functional Partnerships: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless task execution within established timelines and drive business outcomes. Team Leadership and Development: Contribute to building a high-performance team by acknowledging strengths, motivating team members to take charge of their personal development, and driving career growth. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Actuarial Experience: 7+ years of actuarial experience, with 3+ years of experience in auto insurance pricing, reinsurance pricing, or large account pricing. Technical Skills: Strong Excel (or Google Sheets), SQL, and experience with ETL and Python (or R) are required. Advanced Visualizations: Advanced visualization skills to tell compelling stories with data to senior management. FCAS or ACAS Designations: FCAS or ACAS designations are required. Moral Compass and Compassion: A strong moral compass and compassion for others. Preferred Qualifications: Management Experience: Several years of management experience. Commercial Auto Insurance Experience: Experience working with commercial auto insurance in a reserving and/or pricing capacity. Gig or Sharing Economy Experience: Prior experience working with or for a gig or sharing economy company. What We Offer Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary, with a base pay range of $134,600-$198,000 USD, depending on location and experience.
