Allscripts Educator (RN required)
About the position Our healthcare client in Arizona is looking for a local, EHR (Allscripts) Educator to join their team immediately. This individual will be responsible for leading new provider onboardings every other week. Must be comfortable working with physicians and leading training sessions. Altera (Allscripts) experience is required to effectively answer questions and navigate issues during onboarding. This role works in tandem with the Nurse Educator and must be filled by an RN, with previous clinical experience. No build work is required. This contract position would require on-site travel every other week and would continue for the next 3 + months. Responsibilities • Lead new provider onboarding sessions every other week, with a focus on EHR training and adoption. • Provide support and answer real-time questions regarding Allscripts navigation and functionality. • Collaborate closely with the Nurse Educator to ensure seamless training coordination. • Assign and manage e-learning modules. • May assist with process development and training material improvements over time. • Engage confidently with physicians and clinical leadership to ensure a high standard of EHR competency. Requirements • Registered Nurse (RN) with prior clinical experience. • Hands-on experience with Allscripts EHR is required. • Previous experience leading EHR education and training sessions. • Familiarity with other EHR platforms is a plus. • Strong communication and facilitation skills, particularly in provider-facing settings.
