Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer to help clients modernize their IT infrastructure using cloud capabilities. The role involves collaborating with architects and engineers to build automated and reliable solutions, while exploring various cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with architects and fellow engineers to build and deliver automated, reliable, and transparent solution components Broaden experience within a DevOps framework to build and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes Partner with stakeholders and lead the team to deliver and scale the right technical solutions Modernize legacy computing platforms and applications, building new ones from scratch or leading continuous integration and deployment Skills 1+ years of experience in cloud engineering with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure 1+ years of experience with cloud-based solutions, including automation, observability, and monitoring Experience implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based systems in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions, network architecture, and security principles Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Public Trust Associate's degree Experience with DevOps best practices, including reusable Infrastructure as Code (IAC) with Terraform or Cloud Formation, CI/CD pipelines, or Docker containerization and orchestration Experience in healthcare or public health domain Experience with FedRAMP Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelor's degree Amazon or Azure Cloud Certification Benefits Health Life Disability Financial Retirement benefits Paid leave Professional development Tuition assistance Work-life programs Dependent care Company Overview Booz Allen Hamilton is a consulting firm that specializes in analytics, technology, and engineering.
