Engineering/Math Tutor
Company Overview: We are seeking knowledgeable, reliable, and student-focused tutors to join our growing tutoring team. Our mission is to provide high-quality academic support that helps students build confidence, master core concepts, and excel in their coursework. Position Overview: We are hiring experienced tutors who can teach college-level math and engineering subjects. Ideal candidates have strong content knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping students succeed. This position is flexible and can be remote or in-person depending on student needs. Subjects May Include (one or more): • Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I–III • Differential Equations • Linear Algebra • Statistics • Physics (Mechanics, Electricity & Magnetism) • Engineering courses (Intro to Engineering, Statics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Circuits, etc.) • Additional STEM subjects depending on your background Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring to college or high school students. • Assess student needs and tailor sessions to their learning style and academic goals. • Break down complex concepts into clear, understandable steps. • Create or provide practice problems, explanations, and study strategies. • Maintain professional communication with students and/or parents. • Track progress and report any concerns to the tutoring coordinator if applicable. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree (or current upper-level student) in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a related field. • Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to explain challenging concepts clearly and patiently. • Reliable, punctual, and professional. Schedule & Compensation: • Flexible schedule based on your availability. • Compensation commensurate with experience. • Most sessions take place afternoons, evenings, or weekends.
