Required Skills & Experience - 4+ years of proven Executive Assistant experience in the construction industry with the ability to manage complex tasks independently - Permitting & Construction experience - Ability to read and interpret basic construction plans - Exceptional communication skills — must communicate clearly and professionally by phone and email for client-facing work - Exceptional organizational skills and extreme attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Independent and resourceful — able to problem-solve without too much handholding - Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce experience HIGHLY preferred) and standard office software - Comfortable working in a small-business environment that evolves quickly and requires adaptability Job Description Insight Global is hiring an Executive Assistant for our residential construction permitting client in San Diego, CA who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and doesn’t wait to be told what to do. This position requires at least 4+ years of proven administrative support experience in the construction industry with exposure to construction permitting. This role is ideal for someone who is naturally proactive, highly organized, and deeply committed to excellence. You’ll be the kind of person who spots inefficiencies and solves them before they become problems—someone who uses logic, intuition, and past experience to keep projects on track and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. You’ll play a key role in supporting senior leadership, particularly executive leadership, by managing communications, coordinating schedules, permitting, and helping structure day-to-day operations. You’ll also be a trusted point of contact for our clients, responsible for maintaining and strengthening those relationships as our client continues to grow. Your ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and with professionalism will be essential. You’ll be joining a tight-knit team that values transparency, initiative, and mutual respect. This position will be fully remote and will require high levels of responsibility and autonomy. This position functions as a 9-month contract to hire. $25 - $33/HR Applicable state benefits apply.
