Key Responsibilities As a Chat Moderator at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and positivity of our online community. Your primary responsibilities will include: Moderating the chat on our official Discord server, ensuring that users adhere to the community guidelines and rules. Deleting messages that violate the rules, and taking appropriate action against users who repeatedly breach the guidelines. Banning users who have multiple and repeat violations of the rules, and muting users who have violated the rules to prevent further disruption. Investigating reports made by users about potential rule breaches, and taking prompt and fair action to resolve the issue. Providing a positive and supportive experience for our community members, fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity. Essential Qualifications and Skills To excel as a Chat Moderator at blithequark, you'll need: To be at least 18 years old and hold a High School Diploma or GED. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with diverse community members. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make fair and informed decisions. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of community moderation. The ability to work independently in a remote setting, with a strong self-motivation and discipline. Proficiency in using Discord and other online community management tools.
