Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences, and we're committed to creating a work environment that fosters growth, innovation, and collaboration. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Remote Call Center, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional service to internal and external customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner. * Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times, even in challenging situations. * Receiving requests from multiple sources (phone, fax, e-Commerce, in-person) and completing necessary processes for equipment services. * Coordinating home equipment service requests with Dispatch for prompt delivery. * Engaging in active listening with customers, confirming or clarifying information, and diffusing angry customers, as needed. * Providing customers with product and service information, including Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources. * Verifying medical necessity, insurance coverage, and physician orders for all insurance-assigned services. * Following policy and work instructions to ensure the Billing Department has the correct paperwork to complete insurance. * Understanding and striving to meet or exceed department metrics while providing excellent customer service. * Making sales or recommendations for products or services that may complement client needs, as applicable. * Other duties as assigned by management. **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need: * A high school diploma or general education degree (GED). * 6 months of relevant customer service experience, preferably in a medical equipment or healthcare setting. * Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. * Customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences. * Attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process and document customer information. * Good data entry skills, with proficiency in computer systems and strong typing skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting or exceeding department metrics. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Experience working in a call center or customer service environment. * Knowledge of medical equipment, healthcare services, or related industries. * Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM). * Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds. **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote call center representative, you will work from the comfort of your own home, with access to a dedicated workspace and necessary equipment.
