About the Role As a Pharmacy Technician at Amazon Pharmacy, you'll play a vital role in our fulfillment operations, ensuring that customers receive their medications accurately and efficiently. Core Responsibilities Enter prescriptions into our pharmacy filling system with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency, ensuring that customers receive their medications on time. Aid in the onboarding of new customers, including prescription transfers and account setup, to provide a seamless experience. Provide exceptional support to customers, taking the time needed to understand their unique situations and address their concerns. Collaborate with other pharmacy teams, including customer experience, billing, and shipping, to ensure that customers receive the best possible service. Work a standard full-time shift of 10 hours, with opportunities for overtime, flexible scheduling, and part-time shifts. Perform physical tasks, such as standing, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching, and stretching, as well as lifting and moving products up to 49 lbs in weight. Demonstrate manual dexterity of hands and wrists to perform tasks efficiently and accurately. Qualifications and Requirements To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet our basic qualifications: An active, in-state pharmacy technician or trainee license. A High School Diploma or GED. While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA). Current pharmacy experience, which demonstrates your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to lift and move products up to 49 lbs in weight. Manual dexterity of hands and wrists. Compensation and Benefits We're offering a competitive salary of $17 per hour for Licensed Pharmacy Technicians and $19.05 per hour for Certified Pharmacy Technicians (NHA or PTCB).
