Job Responsibilities As a Remote Collection Representative, your primary responsibilities will include: Achieving Assigned Goals: Meet specific goals and targets for your line of business, with a focus on producing high-quality work. Making Phone Calls and Negotiating: Make a required number of phone calls daily, negotiating the best possible arrangements with debtors. Profiling Debtors and Obtaining Financial Information: Gather financial information and profile debtors to inform your collections efforts. Performing Skip Tracing: Locate debtors using skip tracing techniques and strategies. Maintaining Accurate Documentation: Keep accurate records of all attempts and contacts made and received for accounts, in accordance with company and client specifications. Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must: Reside in Ohio: This is a remote opportunity, but you must reside in the state of Ohio to be eligible. Have 5+ Years of 3rd Party Collections Experience: We're looking for seasoned collectors with a proven track record of success. Possess Collection Management Experience: Experience in collection management is a plus, but not required. Know Federal/State Laws and Regulations: You must be familiar with federal and state laws and regulations, including FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, and more. Have a High School Diploma/GED: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Be Able to Work Independently: You must be able to work independently and manage your time effectively. Be Proficient in Data Entry: You must be able to perform data entry using multiple computer databases. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Excellent Communication Skills: You'll be interacting with debtors and other stakeholders, so strong communication skills are essential.
