Role Description This is a full-time (W2) role for an Analyst, Asset Compliance Risk at QUASAR in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. The Analyst, Asset Compliance Risk will report to the Director, Finance and the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for overseeing the risk and health of HOA management portfolio. The ideal candidate will have understanding of homeowner associations and property management. This position is remote. During the training, the employee will need to work out of the home office of the Chief Executive Officer. Upon learning the job, the employee may work remotely. Paid Time Off to Volunteer Key Responsibilities: ? Ensuring that the company complies with federal, state, and local laws, and property-specific rules and regulations. ? Monitoring homeowner and tenant compliance with the governing documents of homeowners associations (HOAs), including bylaws, declarations, and CC&Rs (Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions). ? Investigating complaints, violations, and incidents of non-compliance by homeowners or tenants. ? Working closely with legal counsel to address violations or issues that may require legal intervention. ? Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with rules and regulations. ? Educating and providing guidance to homeowners, tenants, and the management team on compliance matters. ? Ensuring proper record-keeping of all compliance-related activities. ? Reporting non-compliance issues to property management, HOA boards, and legal teams as appropriate. Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s degree ? Minimum of 1 year of experience in property management, risk management, accounting or general real estate. ? Knowledge or ability to learn the AppFolio property management software. ? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. ? Excellent organizational and time-management skills. ? Strong attention to detail and accuracy. ? Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. ? Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
