About the position
The Recurring Remote Production Support - Spotter will play a vital role in supporting ESPN's on-air broadcasters during live event telecasts. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the sport being covered. The Spotter will be responsible for identifying players and team formations involved in various plays on the field, as well as monitoring on-field positioning throughout the broadcast. This role is crucial for ensuring that the on-air talent has accurate and timely information to relay to viewers, enhancing the overall viewing experience. In preparation for assigned sports events, the Spotter will collaborate closely with on-air talent to create specialized 'spotter boards.' These boards will include a comprehensive list of teams, players, player numbers, and positions, all tailored to the specific needs of the talent. This pre-production work is essential for maximizing the Spotter's ability to identify plays during the remote telecast. Additionally, the Spotter will conduct research on players and teams to ensure they are well-informed and can provide valuable insights during the live event. During the live event, the Spotter will closely monitor the action on the field, providing immediate feedback to the on-air talent regarding player involvement in key plays, such as completed passes, changes of possession, and penalties. Communication will often be non-verbal, utilizing the pre-produced spotter boards to convey pertinent game information with immediacy. The Spotter operates within the framework of defined sports remote telecasts, adhering to the concepts, objectives, and outcomes established for each event. After each remote production, the Spotter's work will be reviewed by the on-air talent and the responsible Producer, ensuring that the highest standards of quality and accuracy are maintained.
Responsibilities

Requirements
? Valid Driver's License is required.

? Inner working knowledge of the sport and the rules of the game.
