Job Description

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:
? Review, prepare and transmit electronic and hard copy claims for all federal, state and third-party payers.
? Monitor and work all claim edits to ensure they are fully resolved in a timely manner.
? Research and identify root causes of claim edits.
? Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances.
? Work rejected and denied claims.
? Use problem solving skills to determine root cause and escalate trends to management.
? Document all communications with payers, as well as all billing activities, on the patient's account with clear, concise, and accurate comments.
? Conduct research for payor criteria, and prepare documents for resubmission or special projects.
? Research, verify, and take appropriate actions as it relates to all pre-billing adjustments.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements: ? MUST have experience with one of the following EHR Systems - EPIC, CERNER, CENTRIQ, MediTech or THRIVE (Will not accept applicants w/o this) ? 3+ Years of Hospital/Facility (UB-04) Experience (will not accept applicants who only have experience with CMS-1500 professional billing) ? Diverse payer experience, government and commercial carriers ? Demonstrates the ability to work independently in a remote environment on CST hours

Schedule/ Shift: M-F, regular business hours in CST timezone **Hiring from all states
