Lead DevSecOps Engineer – REMOTE
This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States Our premier client is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Engineer. This role will serve as a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to solve Operational problems by applying engineering practices. The Lead DevSecOps Engineer will create a bridge between development and operations by applying a Software engineering mindset to system administration topics. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Development, maintenance and support of our development pipelines, maintenance, and support of our development pipelines, which support our continuous Integration, Automated Provisioning and Continuous Delivery capabilities across both our cloud and On-Prem Platforms. • Work with stakeholders to define clear project objectives and requirements, agree on priorities, communicate progress updates and demonstrations, resolve issues and conflicts, and provide responsive change management. • Create Jenkins pipeline & shared libraries (Pipeline as Code) using Groovy scripts. • Work on Cloud Engineering solutions using tools like Terraform, Chef (Infrastructure as Code) on AWS environment.Develop tools and processes to reduce deployment obstacles, improve developer productivity, reduce risk and lead to faster time to market. • Develop subject matter expertise on one or more programming languages, vendor products, DTCC applications, data structures, business lines.Implements security solutions and executes test plans working with more senior technical staff to validate security requirements. • Develops and maintains system documentation.Provide ongoing maintenance support for the applications during Post-deployment support phase.Foster a risk management culture through implementation and demonstration of processes and procedures which identify and mitigate risks. QUALIFICATIONS: • BS in Computer Science or equivalent education and • 6+ years of solid, diverse work experience in a DevOps Platform Engineering with Development Disciplines in a high pace Production EnvironmentExperience with Java based Technologies.Platform or Application Engineering and Operational • Knowledge in any of the CICD Tooling Technologies (JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Fortify, SonarQube, Nexus, Nexus IQ)Knowledge on bolthires/CD development using Jenkin pipelines with groovy/python. • System Engineering Knowledge proficiency in Operating Systems and Middleware technologies (Red Hat Linux, Tomcat, etc) • Proven Understanding with Cloud deployments (Private Cloud / AWS / Azure / Docker/ Kubernetes)Solid comprehension of Agile project management leveraging one or more frameworks under the Agile umbrella such as Scrum or Kanban • Experience with Version Control System (VCS) tools such as GIT • Experience in product life cycle management & agile based delivery • SCM / DevOps / bolthires/CD tools & process (GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, Sonar)Web Technologies (HTML 5, CSS, JSON, REST,) • Agile Methodology and Tools (JIRA) • Preferrable Experience with Micro Services & Layered (SOA/MVC) Architecture • Knowledge on provisioning IAC Tools (Chef, Ansible, Terraform, ksh Shell, groovy, python) • Experience with Database Skillsets (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle) Immigration Requirement This role requires candidates to be a US Citizen or be a US Permanent Resident Job CateEgory: Software Job Type: Software Engineering Job Location: Remote This offer from "Tech Integrated Staffing" has been enriched by Jobgether.com and got a 72% flex score.
