Sales Director Highly Engineered Gears Midwest Remote Our client is a market leader in highly custom engineered gears. They use some of the best quality materials on the market outlasting their competitors in the field. They have 3 locations and are growing actively. Job Description Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute a plan for the Midwest region. • Manage a book of existing clients who have gone untouched for many years. • Develop new business opportunities with new clients in the region. • Utilize your network and contacts to sell highly custom engineered gear. • Build strong relationships with customers, key decision-makers, and your team. • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, engineering, operations, and marketing, to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded. • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and tactics as needed. • Work closely with customers to achieve their business goals. The Successful Applicant Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field. • 3-5+ years in a technical sales role, selling highly engineered gears. • 10+ years in a technical sales capacity. • Ability to travel to clients 50-70%. • In person customer meetings, product presentations, delivery of quotes, and proposals. • Experience selling to Oil&Gas, Mining, Construction, Marine, Medical, Defense, and other industries with custom gear nears. • Proven track record of achieving sales goals, revenue targets and driving outcomes. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Track all activity in CRM system. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills What's on Offer Offer: • Remote Role - Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin • Competitive compensation - $130-160k base + commission Apply now for immediate consideration.
