Senior Associate, SEO
Hearts & Science is a data-driven marketing agency that specializes in personalized digital marketing. They are seeking a Senior Associate, SEO to contribute to innovative SEO strategies and optimization initiatives for enterprise-level clients, focusing on content strategy and technical optimization. Responsibilities Support client teams in developing and executing SEO strategies and content programs that meet business objectives Create client-facing presentations and documentation to communicate project value, strategy, and recommended actions Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and content audits to identify opportunities for optimization Produce and implement SEO-focused content, ensuring alignment with brand voice and user intent Optimize on-page elements, including title tags, meta descriptions, header structures, and internal linking to improve organic rankings Conduct page-level and technical SEO audits, providing actionable recommendations for site performance, indexability, and overall SEO health Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Paid Search, Affiliates) to align digital initiatives Mentor and guide junior team members on copywriting and SEO best practices Support AEO and LLM initiatives by auditing content, identifying gaps, and recommending optimizations Stay up-to-date on SEO trends, search engine updates, and AI applications in content strategy Skills 1+ years of SEO experience, either in-house or agency Have experience writing copy, with an understanding of how to write for both users and search engines at once Experience with SEO and analytics tools, such as Screaming frog/Google Analytics/Adobe/Bright Edge/SEMRush/Conductor/Google Looker Studio/Google Search Console Have a strong understanding of technical SEO Enjoy problem solving and adapting to new technologies and processes Be fluent in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc Available to work on-site (office-based) in New York at least 3 days a week Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus Eager to learn about new SEO tools and other platforms used with client teams Benefits Health insurance Vision insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Healthcare Flexible Spending Account Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account Vacation days Sick days Personal days Paid parental leave Paid medical leave STD/LTD insurance benefits Company Overview Hearts & Science, an Omnicom Media Group agency, transforms data signals into meaningful connections between brands and consumers that drive exponential growth.
