(Senior) Backend Engineer
Your missionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our team.Even the best of algorithms are worthless without excellent integration into practice. You drive the adoption of our deep learning models by seamlessly integrating them into the radiology workflow. Your role will be critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability and accessibility of our services, directly impacting the product's effectiveness in improving patients lives.Your responsibilitiesEnhance our AI integration into radiology systems (PACS, RIS, DICOM) to enable scaling up from hundreds to thousands of clinicsImplement and validate integrations with existing and new radiology systemsIntegrate third-party medical products into our current product portfolioOptimize for system stability, security and fast processing times within the medical regulatory frameworksWhat are we looking for?A degree in a relevant scientific (Computer Science, Software Engineering) discipline or equivalent experience in a related fieldStrong knowledge in software engineering fundamentalsProficiency working with Python, basic knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes, and the use of cloud platformsA keen eye for detail and a commitment to scientific accuracyExcellent english skillsStrong commitment to teamworkStack: Python (asyncio framework), FastAPI, Docker, DICOMGood-to-have: Experience working with DICOM and/or in the Radiology field is a big plusExperience working with edge-deployed devicesWe are looking for brilliant, hard-working people who strive to become recognised thought leaders in their domain.
