And we do it all with heart, each and every day. Position Summary: As a Senior Manager, you will join our Aetna Communications team as part of the CVS Communications Function. This role will allow you to be equal parts communications strategist, creative storyteller and campaign manager. More specifically, the role is focused on a combination of executive and business communications, with a focus on leadership communications, internal, external and social content development, and communications campaign management and execution. You will be a key strategic communications partner, within Aetna and CVS, in the areas of Health, Technology and Insurance, working across the enterprise to achieve communications and business goals. You will bring new ideas to the table that keep our stakeholders informed and inspired. Your areas of focus will include: • Research, develop, recommend and execute communications strategies across platforms and audiences • Support external communications, utilizing earned and owned media strategies • Manage colleague communications, including our internal communications platform, leader messages and content • Grow strong relationships with partners across the enterprise with colleagues at a variety of levels, both within and outside of Enterprise Communications • Leverage your deep expertise to identify and provide recommendations for changes in communications strategy to drive more impactful results and colleague engagement • Prepare materials and presentations in a way that adds value, is easily understood by others who may not have the same background or expertise and demonstrates results and impact. Communicates and influences at all levels of the organization. Required Qualifications: • Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant communications experience that includes professional writing and editing, content marketing, traditional and social media, and/or integrated communications • Willingness to travel, as needed, and in support of business needs Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in health care, insurance and/or consulting • A combination of agency and corporate experience • Superb writing, editing, and proofreading skills for executive emails, news releases, social media, websites and digital properties using AP Style • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • High degree of professionalism and executive presence required to interface with executives on a regular basis • Grace under pressure. Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality. Strong performance accountability orientation, both in terms of following through on commitments and deadlines • Strong intellectual curiosity, with superior problem-solving skills and the ability to look into the details while keeping in mind the strategy • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with other professionals in a matrixed organization toward a common goal Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Public Relations or related field; equivalent years of related professional work experience may substitute Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
