Job Title: Senior Oracle Cloud SaaS and PaaS DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer (OCI Cloud Expert) Department: Technology ERP Remote Long Term Contract Job Overview: Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Cloud SaaS (Software as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service) DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our Oracle Cloud infrastructure and applications. This role involves working closely with development teams to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes, automating workflows, and ensuring high availability, security of our cloud-based applications, scalability and performance of our Oracle Cloud environments. Responsibilities and Duties: • Design, set up, and manage Oracle Cloud environments, focusing on SaaS and PaaS offerings, to support enterprise-level applications. • Implement and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines for Oracle Cloud applications. • Automate processes and workflows to minimize manual interventions and ensure efficient deployment and management of Oracle Cloud resources. • Monitor and optimize the performance of Oracle Cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and responsiveness of applications. • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve any infrastructure-related issues in the CI/CD pipeline. • Develop and maintain documentation related to Oracle Cloud architecture, configurations, and best practices. • Stay updated with the latest Oracle Cloud features and technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure and applications. • Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to protect the Oracle Cloud environment from potential threats. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and other team members. • Participate in planning and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans for Oracle Cloud applications. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Oracle Cloud environments, including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities. • Ability to configure, manage, resolve performance issues and implement data backup strategies for Oralce Autonomus Databases. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure management, or a similar role, with a proven track record in Oracle Cloud SaaS and PaaS environments. • Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including experience with Oracle SaaS applications (e.g., ERP, SCM, EPM,WMS). • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Powershell, Bash) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible. • Ability to work with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure APIs to view, manage, monitor and alert service degradations. • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Oracle Visual Builder Studio ) and version control systems (e.g., Git). • Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques for performance tuning and troubleshooting. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills. • Relevant certifications in Oracle Cloud, DevOps, or cloud computing are a plus. • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud security framework including SSO, user authentication, etc. preferred Application Process: Interested candidates should submit a resume detailing their qualifications and experience, along with a cover letter explaining their interest in the role and how they meet the listed qualifications.
