Tax Advisor/Accountant

You will play a critical role in helping clients build long-term financial success through proactive tax strategies and personalized planning. You’ll work closely with clients to identify tax-saving opportunities, ensure compliance, and support wealth-building decisions. This is a full-time, remote position ideal for a highly detail-oriented, reliable, and strategic professional who thrives in a client-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: ● Develop tailored tax strategies and provide ongoing tax planning and compliance services. ● Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (1040, 1120S, 1065, Schedule E, etc.). ● Research IRS rules, interpret publications, and apply insights to client-specific planning. ● Respond to client and prospect inquiries with thoughtful, well-researched guidance. ● Support clients with real estate, business, and individual-level tax strategies. ● Assist the sales team by answering technical tax questions during client follow-ups. ● Manage client onboarding, ensuring all deliverables are organized and deadlines are met. We’re Looking for Candidates Who: ● Have 1 to 3+ years of U.S. tax preparation experience (individual and/or small business). ● Are familiar with QuickBooks, Drake, ProSeries, TaxDome, or similar software. ● Have excellent written communication and the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly. ● Are skilled at IRS research and knowledgeable in U.S. tax strategies (QBI, S-corp, SEP IRA, cost segregation, etc.). ● Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple client files. ● Bring professionalism, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping clients optimize their financial outcomes. ● Experience with real estate or investor tax strategies. Is desirable ● 1+ year in tax advisory or planning. ● Credentials such as EA, CPA, or JD/Master’s in Tax Law is strongly preferred.
