After School Teacher

Join us in doing the most important job in the world - caring for and educating our future bilingual leaders! This part-time position is Monday - Friday 1:45PM-6:00PM.

As a STAY & PLAY TEACHER, you get to:
? Create a safe, nurturing, and welcoming learning environment for our preschoolers.
? Assist in preparing fun and engaging lesson plans geared toward hands-on learning.
? Share the Latin culture & Spanish language with the children.
? Reinforce classroom rules and expectations using positive discipline.
? Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement lessons and activities.
? Help each child reach their full potential through individualized attention engaging them in conversation and hands-on learning.
? Document children's daily activities and developmental growth, and keep parents informed of any daily problems or issues.
? Maintain positive relationships and communication with students, parents, and team members at all times.

Requirements of a STAY & PLAY AFTERNOON TEACHER include:
? A high school degree or equivalent required college degree a plus
? Speak, read, and write Spanish fluently
? Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and early childhood development
? Dependable and able to work Monday-Friday 2:00 PM-6:00 PM

Extra credit for:
? Previous teaching experience with young children
? Experience in early childhood development
? Basic English proficiency
