Position Details

Start Date:

Immediate upon completion of the recruitment process.

Teaching Hours:

Guaranteed approximately 30 hours per week!

Students: ?

Adult professionals over the age of 18.

Students are based throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South America.

Remuneration:

Set base rate of 10 USD per hour.

Contract type:

You will be contacted by The Really Great Teacher Company as an Independent Service Provider.

Work from the convenience of your home.

Key Responsibilities: ? Deliver English lessons and guidance to students. ? Create a fun and engaging classroom environment by facilitating one-on-one or group instruction & utilizing world-class teaching methods. ? Lead discussions, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback.

Specific qualifications required for this role:
? TESL/TEFL Certificate over 100 hours
? TESL/TEFL Certificate
? TESL/TEFL Diploma Level

Additional requirements for this role:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have:
? Bachelor's Degree or higher (Any field)
? Completed, accredited 120-hour or above TEFL, TESOL, CELTA
? 6 Months of teaching or tutoring experience
? English first language speakers from USA/Canada/UK/Ireland/Australia/New Zealand
? Must be based in Central America, South America or Southeast Asia (Mexico/Brazil/Cambodia/Thailand/Vietnam/Bali etc.)
? Computer literate
? Clear criminal record
? Engaging and inspiring communication skills
? Punctual and precise timekeeping
? Available to fit into allocated teaching shift slots

Memory: 8GB RAM or greater.?

Backup power:??

Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life of up to?4-5 hours?(2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching). This is applicable and a non-negotiable requirement for candidates based in a country where regular power interruptions occur.

A stable fibre?internet connection:

At a minimum of 20 Mbps upload and download speeds.?

PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection.??

Noise-cancelling?headsets and HD web camera:

Backup headset is highly recommended.?
