Job Description: About the Role: The analytics team?s mission is to empower Cityblock with trustworthy data insights, intuitive and reliable tools, and deep data domain expertise in support of our mission to radically improve the health of marginalized communities at scale. The Data Analyst in this role should have a strong sense of curiosity, a propensity towards action, and a desire to work in agile teams. In this role, you will have the support of an analytics product manager to work with business teams, technical stakeholders, engineers, product managers, and clinical teams. This analyst will find themself digging through upstream tables, connecting about metric business logic with senior leaders, and designing reporting infrastructure improvements. Responsibilities: Own and maintain enterprise reporting infrastructure in dbt and Looker Write production-grade SQL in a modern development environment (GitHub, dbt) using analytics best practices Co-develop and action on a roadmap to improve enterprise reporting Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to refine metric definitions and improve operational and clinical reporting Work closely with fellow analysts to deliver shared infrastructure, reporting, and insights Requirements: Bachelor's degree in data science, healthcare informatics, statistics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience using SQL in production environments (BigQuery preferred), with fluency in writing performant, maintainable queries and a strong understanding of data modeling, testing, and analytics best practices 3+ years of team-based analytics work experience with cross-functional stakeholders Comfort working in a development-oriented analytics team, with an interest in contributing to shared tooling and standards Familiarity with modern analytics tools and workflows, including dbt and version control (e.g., GitHub) Working knowledge of Looker (or similar BI tools) and data visualization best practices We take into account an individual?s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary.
