About the position

The Pathology Transcriptionist I role at AdventHealth Orlando involves performing transcription activities to support pathologists and the pathology department. Responsibilities
? Perform accurate transcription of recorded medical dictation into designated report format.

? Assist with inventory control and general equipment maintenance.

? Handle receptionist and clerical tasks including typing, filing, and distribution of interoffice memos.

? Support communication among pathologists, assistants, and hospital staff.

? Resolve customer service issues within established guidelines.

? Attend and participate in scheduled department and committee meetings.

Requirements
? Completion of medical transcription program with certificate eligibility or one year of experience in medical dictation transcription.
