What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Provide customer service to taxpayers through verbal and written communication
• Review and process tax forms and correspondence
• Handle extensive phone and computer work
• Resolve customer inquiries and problems effectively
• Maintain a safe and appropriate designated workspace for remote work

What is Required (Qualifications):
• Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school
• One year of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems for the Treasury Customer Service Representative 6 level
• Two years of experience for the Treasury Customer Service Representative 7 level
• Three years of experience for the Treasury Customer Service Representative E8 level
• Must have a secure and sufficient internet access with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload

• Experience in providing customer service in a call center environment
• Knowledge of tax return preparation and tax statutes
• Familiarity with remote work environments
